Eurobond issuance in September-end; size could increase with market conditions, Deputy Finance Minister says
The Eurobond issuance will take place in September-end, Deputy Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk said, adding that it was initially sized at USD3bn, but could increase with market conditions. An unnamed CBE official told reporters that the offering would be in the USD5bn range. The Ministry of Finance will meet with advisors BNP Paribas, JP Morgan, Citi and Natixis on Thursday to determine the size and the interest rate on the issuance, as well as the roadshow strategy, Kouchouk said.
