Emirates Islamic Bank plans benchmark-sized bond

Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB) has mandated banks for the sale of Islamic bonds. The sale of the dollar-denominated, benchmark-sized securities may begin as early as this week. EIB last sold bonds in July 2012, when it raised USD500mn from securities with maturity of between five and six years. (Bloomberg)
