El Sewedy: Further discussions to cut natural gas price, exempt factories from real estate tax
Mohamed El Sewedy, Head of the Parliament Industry Committee, announced that there would be further discussions in the next parliamentary session on cutting natural gas prices and exempting factories from real-estate tax. El Sewedy mentioned that the tough economic conditions in Egypt, including FX scarcity, are creating a challenging environment for all industries, and that the success of these discussions would provide support to local manufacturers.
