Egyptian chemical industries (KIMA) [EGCH.CA] has reported its 1Q16/17 financial highlights, with earnings dropping to EGP7.8mn compared to EGP23mn during 1Q15/16 (-66% Y-o-Y). Revenues actually rose 65% Y-o-Y to EGP84mn vs. EGP52mn in 1Q15/16. On the gross profit level, the company booked losses of EGP430,000 compared to profit of EGP1.7mn in 1Q15/16. (Company disclosure)
