EgyptAir orders nine aircrafts from Boeing worth USD864mn
EgyptAir and Boeing announced Wednesday an order for nine Next-Generation (NG) 737-800s in a deal worth USD864mn. Eight of the plans will be financed by Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), according to an EgyptAir statement. The 737-800NGs will be the largest single-aisle aircraft type in the national carrier's fleet. Meanwhile, EgyptAir operates 20 planes, and aims to increase its fleet to 105 airplanes by the end of FY2020-21. (Al Ahram Online)
