Egypt seeks to import crude directly from Iraq, Petroleum Minister says

The Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, said that Egypt is seeking to reach an agreement with Iraq over importing 1-2mn barrels of crude per month, and that he hoped to finalise the deal by 1Q17. Egypt already consumes Iraqi oil sourced from international markets but the aim is to have a direct government-to-government agreement, El Molla said. (Reuters)
