Egypt eyes USD2-3bn deposit from Saudi Arabia within weeks, Finance Minister said
Egypt is expecting to receive USD2-3bn deposits from Saudi Arabia as part of the USD6bn funding requirement set by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Minister of Finance, Amr Al Garhy, said. The first tranche of the USD12bn loan, worth USD2.5bn, is expected to arrive before year-end. (Al Borsa)
