Egypt attracted USD15bn to government debt since float
Egypt managed to attract USD15bn to government debt since the float in November 2016, up from less than USD1bn before then, said Minister of Finance Amr El Garhy on Thursday. The statement was made during a visit by Moody’s rating agency from 7 to 9 August for the annual review, according to a ministry statement. Egypt’s rating is B3 with a stable outlook as affirmed by Moody’s last month.
