EGP weakest since July in parallel market at USD-EGP 13.10
The EGP is significantly weaker on the black market, trading at USD-EGP 13.05-13.10, compared to USD-EGP 12.8 last week, marking a record low since July. Meanwhile, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) held the EGP steady against the USD at its regular foreign currency sale on Tuesday, selling USD118.6mn at USD-EGP 8.78. (Reuters)
