EGP stable at regular FX sale, weaker on black market
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) held the EGP steady against the USD, selling USD119.2mn at USD:EGP 8.78 at its weekly foreign currency sale on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the USD:EGP rate reached 12.70-12.75 on the black market, compared to 12.50-12.65 a week ago. (Reuters)
