EBRD to provide Egypt with Euro 800mn by year-end, new agreement in 2017
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development aims to top-up its financial support to projects in Egypt to Euro 800mn by year-end, Head of EBRD office in Cairo said. The government and the EBRD are currently discussing projects that will be financed - including renewable energy, water and irrigation - and a new agreement will be launched in January 2017, he added. Projects will involve the private sector and SMEs, according to a statement by the Minister of International Cooperation. (Al Borsa)
