DEWA seeks bids for the construction of 200MW CSP solar plant by May 2017
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has set a May deadline for proposals from qualified bidders for the development of a 200 megawatt (MW) Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plant, it said on Monday. The CSP plant, expected to be operational by 2021, is the fourth phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, which will reach a total capacity of 1,000 MW by 2020, and 5,000 MW by 2030. A request for proposals was sent to qualified bidders on 15 January 2017.
