Decent interest continue for government’s low income housing unit launch
The Ministry of Housing has announced the withdrawal of 325,000 tender documents through Saturday midday related to the launch of 500,000 low income units. The window for the withdrawal of the tendering documents will close on 23 May, while bids will be received starting 3 May and till the end of the month. Of those 500,000 units, 100,000 units are in the finishing stage, and 400,000 will be ready for delivery within one year. Downpayments are set at EGP9,000, while the total selling price per unit is EGP154,000. (Al Mal, Al Borsa)
