Deadline extended for second contract at Al-Maktoum International Airport expansion

Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP) has extended the deadline for bids for the second contract at Al-Maktoum International Airport expansion for two weeks, to mid-June. The contract will involve building site offices, roads, drainage and sewerage lines, and other utilities that will be used by firms working on the estimated USD33bn expansion scheme. DAEP had received bids from contractors for an enabling works package in March. It is also evaluating proposals from consultants for the design of the terminal building and other landside facilities.
