Dairy and juice producer Lamar to invest EGP200mn in 2016/17
Lamar, the local dairy and juice producer is looking to invest EGP200mn during FY2016/17, according to Hany Talaat Mostafa, an executive director at the company. To date, the company’s total investments in its dairy farms have totalled EGP350mn for 3,000 new milking cows, as well as fruit cultivation. The company is seeking to start exporting as part of its development plan and currently produces c55ktpa of dairy and juice produces at its facilities. (Al Alam Al Youm)
