Customs duties on EU imported cars fall to 0% as of 1 January
Customs duties on EU-assembled cars fell to 0% on 1 January, as per Egypt’s trade liberalisation agreement with the EU. Domestic assemblers have been calling against the move, as they see it creating unfair competition from EU, Turkish and Moroccan vehicles.
