Egyptian Resorts Company (ERC) has sent a release to the EGX announcing the adjournment of the court session in the lawsuit raised by Pyramisa Hotels (Pyramisa) against the Tourism Development Authority (TDA), the Prime Minister, the Minister of Tourism and ERC, for the annulment of the Sahl Hashish land contract, to 30 August 2016. This is to allow time for the submission of required documentation form the TDA. We note that ERC had announced previously that an out-of-court agreement is underway between the company and Pyramisa, which, in our view, may result in a faster resolution of the dispute.
