CITC to levy fee on operators for unresolved complaints

The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) took several initiatives to encourage telecommunication operators to resolve customer complaints before escalating them, including levying a fee on operators for unresolved complaints. The CITC said that it settled c96,000 complaints in 2017 and that it is currently developing a ranking index for operators.
