Chinese Sinoma wins cEUR1bn contract to develop cement plant for Egyptian government
Sinoma International, a Chinese full-service general contractor, has announced that its subsidiary, Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry, was awarded a EUR1.05bn contract with the Egyptian government for cement projects in Beni Suef. The turnkey contract is for the construction of six new 6,000 tpd integrated cement production lines in Beni Suef. Also, the contract includes operation and maintenance for three years of two 5,775t/day cement production lines in Arish, along with the six Beni-Suef cement production lines.
