Changes in TE’s board postpones dispute settlements with MNOs
According to Al Alam Al Youm, talks with Mobinil and Vodafone to settle the interconnection disputes with Telecom Egypt (TE) [ETEL.CA] have been postponed due to changes in TE’s Board of Directors (BoD). A general assembly meeting is expected to be held on 16 March to determine the fate of the current board. TE had lost cases against Mobinil and Vodafone, claiming EGP11.7 billion from the former and EGP10.7 billion from the latter. (Al Alam Al Youm)
