CBE to issue consumer protection regulations for banking industry
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will issue soon consumer protection regulations for the banking industry, according to the Head of Financial Inclusion Unit in CBE, Khaled Bassiouny. He added that CBE will be responsible for receiving consumer complaints and investigating them, as well as taking the appropriate measures to prevent monopolistic practices from banks.
