CBE Sub-Governor for Monetary Policy to join IMF
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Head of Monetary Policy Unit Rania Al-Mashat - who joined in August 2005 - will reportedly serve as an advisor to the International Monetary Fund's chief economist in August. Al-Mashat did not resign from the CBE, but she will be on sabbatical leave, according to the source. (Reuters)
