CBE Governor instructs banks to reschedule corporate debts stemming from EGP devaluation

Tarek Amer, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), met with risk managers at local banks in a bid to start rescheduling firms' debts, which surged, following EGP flotation last November, sources told El-Mal newspaper. Amer instructed the banks to offer all possible assistance to the struggling firms and provide necessary financing for exporting companies in particular, the sources added. (Al Mal)
