CBE cracks down more FX bureaus; EGP strengthens slightly in black market
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has reportedly shuttered more foreign currency exchange bureaus to reach 23, from under 20 at the beginning of the week. Meanwhile, the USD-EGP rate reaches 12.80-13.00 in the parallel market on slower demand on USD amidst talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a USD12bn three-year loan. (Al Borsa)
