Catering’s strategic food centre could provide a million meals per day for pilgrims
Saudi Airlines Catering (6004.SE) announced that its strategic food centre, with a total capacity of 30mn meals, is targeting to provide one million meals per day for pilgrims this year. According to the company’s CEO, a number of heating stations will be available at the holy sites to distribute the meals, each vehicle has the capacity to heat up to 2,000 meals per hour. In addition, the company is planning to provide 100 extra stations in the coming four years.
