CARE renews exclusive medical services contract with GOSI for one year at better terms; no material impact on valuation
National Medical Care Company (CARE) has renewed its agreement with the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) for exclusively supplying medical services for workplace injuries for employees covered by GOSI, in Riyadh for one year, starting 1 March 2016. The contract is one of CARE’s major revenue sources, as it has historically contributed to c25% of total revenues, with the contract’s revenues averaging cSAR206mn/annum in the last three years. The contractual terms and conditions with GOSI were revised at better terms, which is expected to bring about a minimum increase in contract revenues by 20% starting 2Q16. The company noted that it is committed to its strategy of diversifying its client categories to include organisations, companies, government hospital, with a targeted weight for insurance companies and out of pocket clients.
