Cabinet reshuffle likely to be approved by month-end, Prime Minister says
Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said on Thursday he expected Parliament to approve nominations for ministers in a cabinet reshuffle by the end of the month. The list of ministries would be changed or the list of nominations have not been finalised, he said, adding that the lists would be completed next week before it was submitted to parliament. Some ministries may be merged, Ismael said without specifying which ones. The previous cabinet reshuffle took place last March, when Sisi named 10 new ministers, including for the finance and investment portfolios. (Reuters)
