Beyti opts to cut marketing spending instead of raising prices of all milk products

Beyti, Almarai's [2280.SE] subsidiary in Egypt, will not apply price increases on milk products that target low-income households, the company’s Managing Director said. Instead, the company will reallocate its advertising budget towards subsidising prices to keep Beyti and Kol Youm branded product prices at their current levels. The company applied this new initiative in Ramadan, during which it ran no advertisements.
