Banque Du Caire finances 7,317 residential units within the CBE mortgage initiative
Banque Du Caire provided financing for 7,317 residential units for low and middle-income segments as part of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE)’s initiative launched in February 2014 to promote affordable housing, according to Mounir El-Zahid, Banque du Caire’s Chairperson. El-Zahid said that nearly 4,326 loans have already been granted worth a total of EGP320mn, in addition to 1,530 loans currently being processed. (The Daily News Egypt)
