Banks trade dollars at 0.3% margin from interbank rates for the first time - EGP slides to bid-offer cEGP17.96
On Tuesday’s interbank market, the dollar was traded at an average of cEGP17.90 (EGP17.74-17.76 buying and EGP18.07-18.12 selling), compared with cEGP17.75 (EGP17.56-17.93 buying and EGP17.56-17.94) on Monday, Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) data showed. Banks reportedly trade the dollar at cEGP17.96 (EGP17.70-17.95 buying and EGP17.95-18.25 selling) on Tuesday, from cEGP17.96 (EGP17.45-17.70 buying and EGP17.75-18.00 selling) on Monday.
