Arabian Cement announces delay to commencing operations at new cement mills project
Arabian Cement Company (3010.SE) announced that it expects to commence commercial operations in the new cement mills project in Rabigh in 4Q17, instead of the previously-announced date of 1Q17, as the construction works are still in process. Currently, it is difficult to assess the financial impact of the new mills, as it will depend on supply and demand forces in the cement market. The company is still in the process of studying the second phase of the project that will include the establishment of a clinker production line. (Company disclosure) Arabian Cement Co.
