Alex Port leads syndicate to build USD450-500mn multi-purpose station
The Alexandria Port Authority (APA) led a JV with the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) and the Land Maritime Transport Holding Company to build a USD 450-500mn multipurpose facility at the Alex Port. Part of the project will be funded through bank loans, Land Maritime Transport Holding Company Chairman Mohamed Youssef told Al Mal. The project had been halted after negotiations to cut the project’s price tag with China Harbor reached a deadlock.
