Kuwait’s largest mixed-use waterfront project, Al-Kout, is progressing on schedule to open in 4Q2017, as confirmed by real estate developer, Tamdeen, its developer. The project will include a KWD70 million (USD235 million) mall, with 100,000 sqm of retail leasable area, to replace Al-Manshar mall and four residential towers. The mall is 50% pre-leased, with anchor tenants expected to move-in in 2017, ahead of the opening of the mall. The Tamdeen group has projects worth USD2 billion in the pipeline to be developed across Kuwait. (Gulf Business)
