Abdel Mohsen Al-Hokair Group has reported its financial headlines for 3Q16. Net income came in at SAR58.4mn (+2.1% Y-o-Y, +209% Q-o-Q). Operating income was SAR59.6mn (+12.7% Y-o-Y, +317% Q-o-Q), while gross profit was SAR124.9mn (+5.1% Y-o-Y, +50.7% Q-o-Q). This brings 9M16 net income to SAR127.4mn (-19.3% Y-o-Y), operating income to SAR120.3mn (-16.1% Y-o-Y) and gross profit to SAR314.4mn (-4.8% Y-o-Y). Management attributed the rise in Y-o-Y improvement to a 6% Y-o-Y in revenue to SAR336.9mn, driven by the new additions at the hotels and entertainment centres, which more than compensated for the weaker operations at the hotel business.
