Al Baraka Bank Egypt plans EGP500 million financing for energy sector in 2016
Al Baraka Bank Egypt is planning to inject EGP500 million (USD63.8 million) funding for the energy sector in 2016, according to the bank’s Chief Executive Ashraf El-Ghamrawy. The bank is currently promoting finances to be pumped into electricity and oil sectors, the official stated. Al Baraka bank's total loans reached EGP9.3 billion in 2015, up 9% compared to EGP8.5 billion in 2014. (Amwal Al Ghad)
