State-controlled Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) terminated services of 2,000 expatriate employees since start of 2016, and has asked managers to identify further 3,000 job cuts, according to MEED. The planned job cuts to reduce workforce by just over 9% from headcount of about 55,000 people. (Bloomberg)
