Abu Dhabi received bids for one of the largest infrastructure schemes this year
Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) has received bids for the second construction package of the proposed crossing that will connect Al-Reem Island, Umlifaina Island and the rest of Abu Dhabi. The lowest bidder for the design-and-build deal was Italy’s Salini, with a price of AED754mn (USD205mn), which was c25% lower than the offer of AED1.01bn submitted by the local/Australian Habtoor Leighton Group. The local Trojan was the third-lowest bidder, with a price of AED1.17bn. China Harbour Engineering Corporation submitted the lowest compliant bid for the first package, with a price of AED413mn, slightly lower than the second-lowest offer of AED419mn submitted by the local Trojan/National Projects Company (NPC).
