Abu Dhabi is set to regulate real estate professionals

The Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA) in Abu Dhabi is set to start issuing licences for professionals at the property industry who have obtained the training course provided by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET). Those include: real estate developers, brokers, auctioneers, assessors, and surveyors. Yousef Al Kuwaiti, Director of Regulations, Land and Real Estate Registration Division at the Department of Municipal Affairs, said the new Real Estate Regulatory Law stipulated a grace period of 90 days.
