Abu Dhabi introduces exit fee for airport passengers
Passengers departing from or transiting through airports in the emirate of Abu Dhabi are to be charged a AED35 service fee. The fee will be introduced from 30 June. Children under the age of two, transit passengers travelling on the same flight number and airline crew will be exempt from paying. Dubai had announced in March that it would start charging AED35 departure tax for all flights after 30 June. (The National)
