The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) has received 30 bids for a total of 64 land plots it offered through the General Authority for Investment (GAFI). Some 440 bidding documents were withdrawn for land plots, as reported last week. The bidding documents were made available starting 13 January and through 4 February, as per the original plan, extended to 4 March on less-than-expected demand. These plots total 1,500 feddans and are spread over 20 new cities, ranging from 3.5 feddans and 106 feddans each. (Al Borsa)
