MoF considering bill to reduce period of validity of tax disputes to four months
The Ministry of Finance is considering submitting a draft law to Parliament amending the current law to end tax disputes, so that the period of validity will be reduced to only four months instead of two years. An official source at the Ministry of Finance told the Middle East News Agency that the amendments come within the framework of the duties of the Ministry in expediting the termination of the file of tax disputes and the collection of public treasury rights from these disputes, estimated to be at about 150,000.
